Animal party!
J´s nursery have had "animals" as their theme the last few weeks and today we were invited for an Animal party. They had animal inpired activities but the highlight must have been the animals that were brought in for the kids to see, and touch if they dared! It was funny to see that the older the children, the more scared they were. The really young ones didnt hesitate to touch the snakes while both A and J barely dared to touch it with one finger (and they both made sure to touch far away from the head!)

Preparing a mask, J´s assistans teacher was in charge of this station and I think it shows in her eyes that she is excited to be getting instructions from her.

J didnt hesitate to hold the parrot though...
....and opposite from when he chickened out to hold the falcon in Malta (click for link to that post) today he held the parrot and was very happy afterwards
We thought it was a nice party, the kids played and had fun and we could socialize with other parents. For the first time I talked properly to the parents of J´s "crush" and I found it so funny that he used the same words that I used describing the two of them, "they are like an old married couple"!
